As our patients and their implants age, peri-implantitis is also a growing problem.

This 2-hour session will look to understand the problems that may be encountered when restoring dental implants and how to overcome them. We will also look at how to avoid issues in more complex implant restorations.

This course is the first step towards restoring your own implant referrals, by covering how you to restore simple cases, such as single crown or simple bridge. The evening begins with a presentation from an experienced Implantologist, followed by a demonstration on one of our patients and finished with a hands on practical task.

We will explore the types of scans needed, considerations from tooth preparation to the cementation of restorations, and what effective communication between the dentist and the laboratory looks like to ensure that patient expectations are achieved.
