If there are problems with the fit or shade, we will remake the restoration and fit it ourselves, free of charge. Say goodbye to worries about complications during the restoration process.
What’s in it for The Implant Centre?
We will charge your patient £150 per unit for the digital implant impression. You will only be responsible for the laboratory charges, just as you would if you had taken the impression yourself. The finished implant restoration will then be sent directly to you for fitting. Minor adjustments to occlusion or contacts should be made by you. If significant adjustments are required, simply send the patient back to us with the restoration.
We anticipate that this service will be in high demand among our referring dentists, leading to an increase in patient referrals for implant treatment.
Why is this service currently available only in Hove?
At present, our Haywards Heath centre lacks the necessary capacity to offer this service. However, we are excited to inform you that we are developing a substantial new site in Haywards Heath that will be able to accept these types of referrals as soon as it opens.
Is this service available for every implant patient?
We are initially limiting this service to patients requiring the restoration of 1-3 units. Patients with a greater number of units often necessitate additional appointments or procedures to ensure the correct occlusion.
While we may well expand this service in the future to include larger restorations, we are currently focusing on simpler cases.
It’s worth noting that the majority of cases referred to us by you fall within the 1-3 unit range, allowing you to restore most of your patients using this approach.
What do you need to do?
Simply indicate clearly on your referral that you want to use this restoration method, and inform your patient that their restorative fee will be divided, with £150 per unit paid to The Implant Centre when the impression is taken, and the remainder payable to you upon fitting the restoration.
